BKMag has always been a love letter to Brooklyn — its rhythm, contradictions, and creative pulse. My work with the magazine explored the intersection of culture, fashion, and the city’s evolving identity. Each piece was an exercise in storytelling: highlighting the voices that make Brooklyn magnetic, from underground designers to cultural tastemakers redefining what it means to “make it” here.
What I Did:
Ideated, created, and edited social and editorial features and interviews focused on culture, fashion, and community
Developed sharp, conversational narratives that blended journalism with creative storytelling
Collaborated with editors to shape content strategy and social rollout for digital features
Crafted article titles, captions, and story angles that resonated with a new generation of Brooklyn creatives
