Brooklyn Circus

A cultural campaign uniting two Brooklyn icons, The Brooklyn Circus and BK Magazine.

I developed a cross-platform visual identity blending streetwear and storytelling, with mini-docs, event teasers, and interviews celebrating craftsmanship.

Impact: 1M+ impressions, sold-out capsule, and lasting community building.

Local Legends

Local Legends was created to celebrate the people shaping Brooklyn’s creative DNA, from fashion and music to culture and community.

When I joined the BK Magazine team, I helped reimagine and redefine the vision for this series. I helped with creative direction, helped identify which stories to tell, and guided how we told them to make sure each piece felt authentic, and true to the borough.

My first major contribution was the BK Circus feature — a cornerstone of the new Local Legends direction. I helped select the subject, develop the creative approach, and plan the storytelling rollout across BK Mag’s digital platforms. The response was massive — it became one of our most-shared and talked-about pieces, striking a chord with Brooklyn natives and creatives alike. Helped redefine the visual tone for Local Legends, a BKMag series spotlighting iconic Brooklyn figures.
